Tranquility, our new Morningstar Flute Ensemble CD, brings a variety of classical and classical-sounding contemporary music to you for your listening enjoyment. Featuring such old masters as Bach, Mozart, Tchaikovsky, Faure, our CD also includes music by present day composers, some from our own Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia area – Ann Holler, Beth McCoy, Carolyn McDade, Catherine McMichael, Mark Pope.
The music on this CD is music that we love – both to listen to and to play. It is music that encourages a sense of peace and tranquility in lives that are sometimes overfull and prone to agitation.
